All of the products has a ZigBee modules inside,so the wireless gateway can control the devices in house. But one kinds of products is a little different, that is home appliance which is controlled by a IR controller, and now you need a IR transmitter to learn the functions keys, then you can realize remote control. Why does this happen? Because not all of the home appliance are complete intelligentized ,so if in the future, all of the home appliance are intelligentized, and no need to use IR transmitter ,just need to make a ZigBee chip insert into the home appliance, then you can control them on your smart phone or PC.
Image that,when you are in the way, the electric cooker are cooking automatically, and your water heater can adjust a comfortable temperature for you, the light can open according to the light intensity etc, is it cool?
